The Ascent

This is Whitney Portal seen through the Alabama Hills of East Central California.

Over the next few months and years I’m going to begin posting blog posts on a semi regular basis on subjects I’d like to share with folks who find and discover me and this site.

The subjects will mostly cover people and places where concern for the environment and how people are acting responsibly to do their part to change our impact on the planet and their own lives.

I’ll also delve into aspects of photography and video, maybe even dump a bit of political and philosophical stuff on you as well… but most of the time, it’s just going to be about where we go from here in a very positive way.
