Aspen Path

Rocky Mountians near Aspen, Colorado: To walk into a grove of Aspen trees nestled in a canyon is to experience silence, rippled by the sound of a hesitant wind. The golden back light of the sun, against the blackness of the canyon walls sparkles the leaves with all their shimmering color. The path quietly meanders amongst these trees, seemingly reminding me of their deep roots in the earth, ones that connect and go on for miles.
